Ms. Laura S.
Title: Teacher
Laura grew up in southern Utah in a loving family who shares her passion of dance. Starting percussive dance and gymnastics at age 4, she learned to love all forms of movement. Some of her early accomplishments include: Taking first in all around in USA State Gymnastics, graduating high school as Dance Sterling Scholar, and being awarded All-American cheerleader.
Laura graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in Dance and a minor in Family Studies. She spent several years on the BYU Ballroom Dance Touring Company where she represented BYU at the 2023 International Ballroom Blackpool competition and became an international formation champion. She is a two time U.S. National finalist in amateur cabaret, and a National Pre-champ vice champion in American Smooth and Ballroom. Aside from ballroom, Laura has trained in many other genres including gymnastics, tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and more. When Laura isn’t thinking about dance, you can find her listening to Michael Bublè, or trying to find a good slice of pizza with her husband.
Laura loves Studio K and is ecstatic to be a teacher here!

Jessica
was born and raised in Utah. She grew up with 5 siblings, which has instilled
her with a love for children. Jessica graduated from Brigham Young University
with a BA in Dance. While attending BYU she performed and choreographed for the
DancEnsemble company as well as was an assistant teacher for the BYU children’s
dance program.
When she was 5 her mother signed her up for dance and she cried
her very first day but it quickly became her passion in life. She has
been married since 2015 and has 4 wonderful children. Some things
that she enjoys are playing outside with her kids, reading, baking, and of
course dancing. She is excited to make a life long dream come true by being a
dance teacher here at Studio K.

McKelle grew up in South Florida where she loved spending time at the beach. She started dance and gymnastics at the age of three and has danced ever since. She began competing with her studio dance team at the age of eight and competed for ten years. She attended BAK School of the Arts, an audition based middle school, where she majored in dance, including training in Modern Horton technique and ballet. In high school she danced on the company team, which also included Horton technique training, ballet and jazz. She danced on the drill team which utilized hip hop, pom, and jazz and competed at UDA (Universal Dance Association) at states. She was also a Fine Arts Dance major and a member of National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Additionally, she’s trained in contemporary, lyrical, and acrobatics.
She is currently majoring in Dance Education at Utah Valley University. Some recognitions include, first place soloist, senior choreographer, and dance captain. Along with dance, McKelle has nannied and tended young children. She enjoys enriching the lives of children through helping them see their potential and encouraging artistic expression.

Kenna grew up in South Jordan, Utah and is the youngest of 5 kids. She started dancing at 4 years old and has carried a passion for it ever since. She danced at Rocky Mountain Dance for 13 years where she trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz and hip hop.
In high school, she was on the award-winning Bingham Ballroom Team for 3 years where she developed a love for partner dancing. She choreographed for the team all 3 years and was the technique officer her senior year.
She also loves musical theater and participated in the theatre program at her middle and high school. Some key roles were Ella in Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Kira in Xanadu, and featured dancer in shows such as Mamma Mia, Catch Me If You Can, and Pirates of Penzance. After she graduated, she coached the Junior Ballroom Team at Bingham High for a year and then served a mission in southern Oregon.
She is currently at UVU studying Dance Education with a minor in Health Education. Kenna is excited to fulfill her passion for teaching at Studio K.

Lexi has been dancing since age 3 and has loved it more every year since! She trained in ballet, tap, tumbling, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater. She has attended studios across the country (Ohio, Colorado, Kentucky, and Kansas), including at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC every summer.
Once Lexi came to BYU, she learned about ballroom dance and loved it so much she made it her minor! Lexi was also a member of the BYU Ballroom Dance Showcase Company and competed in ballroom, Latin, smooth, rhythm, and cabaret styles She loved performing and competing with her team. During her time at BYU, she also took courses in cultural dance, choreography, dance conditioning and kinesiology.
Lexi graduated with a BS in Human Development from BYU. She married her celebrity crush in April 2025 - they met country swing dancing, and the rest is history. They like to go dancing and walking all around town. Lexi is THRILLED to add Studio to her dance family!

Brooke has been dancing since the age of three and has trained extensively in a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics, pointe and ballroom at On Your Toes Dance Studio in Tavernier, Florida and Dance Attack Miami.
A former competitive dancer, Miss Dance USA 2025 national finalist, she brings a strong technical foundation, performance quality and industry insight to her work as a dance, judge and educator.
Brooke has over four years of teaching experience with dancers ages 3-18. She instructs, mentors, and choreographs with an emphasis on technique, artistry, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Her professional performance credits include being a featured dancer in the music video, Dedicate This Song to You by The Cherry Drops, as well as performing in annual productions of The Nutcracker with Southeast Alabama Dance Company. Brooke also served as assistant choreographer for Ramalama, a piece selected to perform at the Regional Dance America Southeast Festival.
Brooke is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Event Management at the University of Florida and is a proud member of the National Dance Coaches Organization. She is passionate about supporting and inspiring the next generation of dancers while continuing to grow as both an educator and adjudicator within the dance industry.

Ms. Aleah I.
Title: Teacher
Aleah started dancing at a young age and is passionate about helping adults continue their journey in dance. She is classically trained in ballet and has studied multiple styles in many studios over the years, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and Bollywood. She was a principal dancer with the Shenandoah Academy of Dance whilst in college and also was the captain and director of the Southern Virginia University Dance Company for three years.
Outside of dance, Aleah works as a marketing manager, editor, and journalist.
